I’m In the new 12″x12″ SAA exhibit!
What great news it was to be notified my piece was accepted for the SAA exhibit in Highland Park, CA. This is especially nice since the last work I entered in a juried show didn’t make it. As much as I tell myself it’s ok, it’s always disappointing. But it feels good to get in a show.
This piece was one I re-did from a bigger piece I didn’t like. Now I like it. Re-cycling is good. I am going to LA next week so I can see the whole show. It’s from March 14-April 5 at Avenue 50 Studio, ada N. Avenue 50, Highland Park, CA.
It’s always hard to put your work “out there” – maybe because it’s so personal. It was just the same when I was making prints. Always hard to put the work on display. I mean, what if someone thinks it isn’t good enough!!
