This exchange of postcards through Postmarkdart, has been such fun, I’ve decided to go the next round. These postcards were to be a beach theme and I have gotten some great cards through the mail. These are some of mine. I always like to check out the high tide line at the beach for the flotsam it carries from far away places. I painted and burned Lutradur for the background, then I couched various yarns and threads as my high tide mark. Lastly, I hand beaded on top of the couched yarn to give the idea of “stuff” caught in the weed.
